The Driving Book Everything New Drivers Need to Know but Don't Know to Ask eBook Karen Gravelle Helen Flook Reviews

  • My somewhat driver-reluctant 16 yr old son really liked this book, although he would never admit as much to me. But I saw it had been read several times. Has a lot of really good topics, like what to do if stopped by a police officer; what to do if you're in an accident. Very good instructions for things that are not covered (or not covered thoroughly enough) by parents or driving schools. Very readable.
  • Informative book with a bit of humor. I purchased this for a new driver. Her parents loved the section, "How to deal with parents.". Her father is a police detective and he said she really needed to read the book, because it gave good information.
  • Two of my nephews just received their driver's license and so I bought each one a copy of this book. This book covers nearly every experience a new driver might possibly face. It covers each topic in depth. Would definitely recommend this book to anyone who has a young person that is just getting their license. Should be a mandatory read.
  • Bought this for my (almost) 16 year old son. Some of the tips he learned in his driver training class but some tips were new. The book helped him ask questions that he may not have thought of on his own.
  • Of my 9 grandchildren, the three oldest are boys who are learning to drive. I bought them for stocking stuffers. Hard to find stocking stuffers for 15, 16, and 18 yr old boys. I’m sure great for girls too. The book is eye catching and has great tips for the novice driver that he/she might not have been taught in Drivers Ed. It’s an easy, attractive read.
  • I bought this for my niece. I love how it has cute sketches. They get straight to the point and keep it quick plain and simple.
  • This book touches on many subjects you New driver would think but would not ask. It is up in a good humor..loved the way it talks to the young.
  • Giving this to a new teenage driver. Skimmed through it and goes through practical things about driving without being boring.
